Grayson Ramsey 

Grayson Ramsey is from Claremont, NC and will graduate from Wake Forest as an Engineering major and Mathematics minor.  During his senior year, Grayson has been a member of the Promoting Electric Propulsion capstone senior design team.  He and his team have worked under the guidance of Dr. William Crowe, Dr. Hunter Bachman, and Dr. Kyle Luthy (Wake Forest Engineering) to design an electrically propelled watercraft to complete a five-mile race within a given budget.  His favorite course offered by the engineering Department was EGR 311. “I found the topic fascinating and truly enjoyed it! The passion shown by my professors encouraged me to explore the topics covered even more!” He’s intrigued simply by how things work.

Grayson has worked as a Facilities Manager and IT Administrator for Ramsey Finishing in Hickory, NC where he provides IT support and implements new inventory software, QuickBooks Enterprise, to maximize efficiency. During his time at Wake Forest, he has also volunteered as a Website Administrator and Media Team Leader. He plans to enter the workforce after graduation.
