Research

Every technology today runs wireless, and the number of interconnected wireless devices increases every year. To sustain this growth, wireless hardware and signaling techniques must be redesigned to be efficient and multi-purpose. My research addresses this challenge by focusing on designing the next-generation of wireless systems and applications for enhanced sensing, communications, identification, and power transfer. Specific core areas of my research include: designing sustainable wireless hardware with novel circuit designs and components, investigating backscatter modulation signaling techniques for low-power wireless communications and identification, and unlocking new applications and fields of exploration for sustainable wireless technologies. It is my goal to train and mentor the next generation of wireless engineers and problem solvers.
