Mr. Greg Riley

Greg is currently an analyst on a lending and asset finance desk at Macquarie Group, an international investment banking and financial services firm. Greg was a member of the 2025 graduating class in Engineering at WFU, where he also received a B.A. in Physics. His capstone project at Wake Forest involved developing a self-expanding mechanical heart valve for pediatric patients born with Congenital Heart Disease. As part of the capstone, Greg and his teammates developed a working physical and CAD prototype that allowed the device to be implemented with minimally invasive procedures, rather than thoracic surgery.
In his current role at Macquarie, Greg supports the structuring and execution of transactions across the digital infrastructure, construction, and transportation industries. Prior to this role, Greg supported the development and launch of a health education app, Kovo Fitness, and conducted statistical learning research with Dr. Edward Allen in the WFU Department of Mathematics.
