Drew Foreman Headshot

Drew Foreman is from Winter Park, Florida and double majored in Engineering and Art History. Wake Engineering’s unique presence within a liberal arts university has helped blend his passion for design and structure with his passion for math and science. Drew reflects fondly on his experiences here at Wake Forest. Drew shared that his favorite Wake Engineering project was in Professor’s Lutzweiler’s class, EGR 329: Functional Advanced Materials Characterization. In this class, the students were tasked with building a bridge; “it was a lot of fun to work together to build a bridge, and then even more fun to stress test them until failure,” he shares. Drew also enjoyed working with Dr. Di Vittorio on her High Rock Lake Water Quality Lab where he interacted with other classmates and professors while gaining new skills from the learning experience.

Drew also worked as a Project Engineer Intern at WELBRO Builders, Corp where he worked on-site at a hotel and assisted with the organization of subcontractors and purchases. Outside of the classroom, he was involved in an assortment of extracurricular activities. He was a member of the Media Council, a returning volunteer at Wake n’ Shake, and was a founding member of Engineers without Borders. This summer following graduation, Drew will be joining Poulos & Bennet, a Civil and Architectural Design firm, as a Staff Civil Engineer.
