Mr. Cris Gaut

Mr. Gaut is the founding CEO and Chairman of Forum Energy Technologies (NYSE: FET), a global manufacturer of energy products and equipment headquartered in Houston, TX. Prior to the formation of Forum in 2010, Mr. Gaut was a managing director at SCF Partners, a leading private equity investment firm in the energy space. From 2003 to 2009, he was CFO and then President, Drilling & Evaluation at Halliburton Company, a leading diversified oilfield service company, and prior to that he was CFO and co -President of Ensco International, a leading offshore contracting company. Mr. Gaut is currently a director of EOG Resources, a large, independent oil and gas company. He has also been on the board of directors of various public and private companies and non-profit organizations, including the Board of Overseers at the Thayer School of Engineering at Dartmouth College. Mr. Gaut has an A.B. degree in Engineering Sciences from Dartmouth College (1978) and an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania (1980). He has strong family ties to Wake Forest through his wife, Donna Gaut, (BA ’78) and his son (BA ’06, M Ed ’08 and daughter-in-law (BA ’06, MD’11).
