Annlyn Zinke

Annlyn Zinke is from Nashville, (TN) and has an interest in the benefits of coding and computer science.  In addition to her engineering degree, Annlyn will graduate with a minor in both mathematics and computer science.  Annlyn has spent her senior year working on the WFU Stormwater System Modeling and Improvement project under the guidance of WFU Engineering Faculty Dr. Courtney Di Vittorio.  The goal of the project is to address the erosion on the banks of a creek on the WFU campus that has proved to be hazardous to nearby buildings and vehicles if left alone.  The team spent the first semester gathering data on the project site and now is working to prototype their solution.  Annlyn’s favorite memory in Wake Forest Engineering is going out to dinner with both her team members and capstone coaches after the completion of a significant project milestone.

In addition to her senior design capstone project, Annlyn was a member of both Kappa Delta and Alpha Phi Omega.  Her previous work experience includes a summer internship at Deloitte Consulting GPS where she worked to develop a stakeholder ecosystem showcasing the levels of interaction between stakeholders and applicants to improve communication, and an internship at The Comfort Group Inc. during which she collaborated with project managers to create plans for over 30 new projects.

After graduating from Wake Forest Engineering, Annlyn plans to work at Deloitte Consulting GPS as a Business Technology Solutions Analyst in Washington, DC.
